Breeders List

Discussion on the breeding of shrimps

My breeding stock is F2 tank bred, so I am getting a good percentage of shrimplets surviving into adulthood, but they breed really slow, a lot slower than my cherries or Taiwan bees.
Once I get the numbers up, I am hoping to start some line breeding :)

I just currently have Sakura grade fire red shrimps and normal cherries.
I am attempting to breed CRS with very little luck.

Yep new generation shrimps are much hardier than their parents. CRS are generallt alot slower growing than cherries though I find they tend to fight more for the food when cherries are present.

Great to hear people are trying to breed good quality grade red cherries. I think this is what is lacking in the hobby at present.

Yeah it doesn't help that I only have one breeding female, but hopefully I can start getting these guys out there, there is so much hope for these little natives
