RULES OF AUCTION- Must read before selling/bidding

Postby shrimp » Tue Feb 19, 2013 10:26 pm

Here are the rules for the auctions. Please take the time to read and understand the rules before participating in an auction.

Rules of Auction

1. Sellers must provide a detailed description of the item and opening reserve price. There is no changing of your reserve price once an auction commences. Use the template provided.
2. A clear high resolution photo(s) of the item must be provided.
3. The seller must state the end date and time for the auction. Once an auctuon has ended, the seller must post up a statement that the auction has ended and the winner.
4. The exact location, suburb and state must be specified.
5. The Seller must provide whether shipping is available or pickup only. The seller may provide a reasonable estimate of the cost of shipping (if available).
6. It is recommended that the Seller specify a payment method (e.g. COD, Bank payment or Paypal). We recommend Paypal as a payment option for security reasons.
7. All bids must be made in ($) dollar terms and in increments of at least $1.
8. No editing of posts once your bid has been posted.
9. The seller must have the item available for the winning bidder at the end of the auction. It is the responsibility of the seller and winning bidder to contact each other at the end of the auction to arrange pickup or postage. Either seller or winning bidder may NOT withdrawal from the sale/purchase of the item, unless consented by both parties.
10. Be nice and respect others. Shrimpscape staff has the discretion to disqualify a bid, give a warning or ban a member at any time from the auctions or the forum.
